Blue Star Donuts is a gourmet donut concept founded in Portland, OR, in 2012. Our donuts are made from a classic brioche recipe that originated in the south of France. The dough takes 18 hours to make and is made by hand every day; we start with a high quality bread flour, add cage-free eggs, whole hormone-free milk, and then fold in a European-style butter. Our donuts, glazes, and fillings are made fresh throughout the day, and we only cook our donuts in rice oil. Our unique and creative flavors have earned us the nickname “Donuts for Grownups”.

Selections change seasonally and sell out quickly.

We proudly serve unique roasts by Coava Coffee in Portland and Verve Coffee in Los Angeles, as well as Steve Smith teas.

Strawberry Pistachio Cream Cheese. YES it’s back! This brioche donut is filled with a decadent pistachio cream cheese! It's topped with a juicy strawberry glaze and sprinkled with roasted pistachios. YUM! . 2. Apple Brandy Crumble! This fall treat starts with a scrumptious apple cake donut. It is covered in a tart and sweet apple glaze made with fresh-pressed granny smith apple juice and barrel-aged apple brandy from @clearcreekdistillery in Portland! We've topped it all off with a salted Marcona almond crumble!. . You can find these beauties at all Portland shops through November! 😘

Pumpkin Cream Cheese. 🎃Beautiful Brioche with a pumpkin cream cheese filling + hints of ginger, cardamom, and nutmeg. Rolled in sugar & spice and topped with a salted pepita! Annnnnnd... . 2. Apricot Amaretto w/ Almonds. This one starts with a fluffy vanilla cake donut. It’s dunked in Amaretto (almond liqueur), topped with a decadent glaze made of end-of-summer apricots - and yes, those are Slivered California almonds on top!! 😍(p.s. this one is vegan!). .
